Parts of Us Pet Care Ltd. is owned and operated by Anna Tauras. Her love for dogs and for dog training began with the family pet, Hershey, a chocolate Labrador. Anna is a cross-over trainer, having learned as a teenager to apply techniques that are no longer relevant in the industry, and is committed to improving welfare in pet dogs by supporting their relationship with humans, educating families and the public about dogs and their needs, increasing the functional behavioral diversity of pet dogs, installing two-way communication and collaboration with the humans in their lives, and promoting life-long resilience in both pet dogs and their owners. In providing training and behavior services, Anna is committed to LIMA based approaches to modifying animal behavior. Anna is a Certified Family Dog Mediator® (integrating Applied Ethology in approaches to animal training, with ongoing mentorship), is a certified PetSaver™ through PetTech, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. She is a member of R+ 2.0 Collaborative, and professional associations: Pet Professional Guild, Pet Sitters Associates, and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
